#WhiteGirlProblems

#whitegirlproblems
You're welcome.

1. Are Snickers from Easter acceptable to eat in October? - I'm just trying to save money by not buying Halloween candy.

2. Why do Pumpkin Spice Oreos exist? That is not the point of Oreos.

3. Public Transportation #mbta

4. I have nothing to wear.

5. Does a 1 year old need to dress up for Halloween?

6. There is not enough time in the week to catch up on all the shows I DVR.

7. When it's time to shop for new boots.

8. Doing the laundry:

9. The line at Starbucks is too long.

10. When my 1 year old wakes up before 6am on the weekend...except it's still dark out.

Our very own Annabelle

Toys are creepy

What is the creepiest way to be woken up in the middle of the night? Well, maybe except an intruder, murderer, rapist, or clown, is hearing Bubbles the Learning Whale singing his creepy song in the middle of the night from the bathroom.
Bubbles, bubbles all around.
Popping bubbles up and down.
Bubbles popping to and fro.
Bubbles put on quite
a show!

I don't know if Bernie could have gotten in the tub and pushed the power button, but I was not about to get out of bed to investigate. THREE different times this freaking whale sang to me. Hey Bubbles - your spout looks like a chef's hat.

I don't know if Bubbles will start torturing our family and stealing babies like his cousin Annabelle, but if he does we're moving.

What a month...

Cecilia is now fully recovered from an infection and JD & I are currently almost, not quite fully recovered from exhaustion, emotional stress and confusion.
Thankfully Piglet was there to protect her while we spent 7 hours in the ER...
Please don't need to get an IV ever again

The poor baby was sick for her first birthday party so I'm not sure she knew it was all about her. Thank you to the family and friends who came to celebrate. I think we'll be doing a cake do-over since she wanted absolutely nothing to do with my delicious banana bread cake with chocolate buttercream frosting...it was yummy. Now that she is back to her usual self we will re-celebrate...might as well have a month long celebration like her Mommy usually does.

I've missed a few posts because of vacation, party prep, illness and work travel...so here is a recap of the last month!

A wedding & solid food puke

You don't know stress until you've tried to keep your 11 month old quiet and entertained at your brother's wedding ceremony. Here is what it entails:
Food, bottles, Piglet, wands, toys and an iPhone

But before I get to the ceremony, first we must go back.

Walker, Whiner, Smiler, Shy

Prologue: Ahhh this feels good...I missed blogging. Wow. I didn't realize how much I missed it until I sat down and started writing this post.
My pregnancy blog was the best way possible for me to vent and process everything that was happening to my body and our life. I stopped after Cecilia was born because I felt like I couldn't write about our daughter and our life with the same sarcasm and mockery as my maternity blog. Well, I'm here today to tell you that ship has sailed. Who cares? Not me, not no one. Not my chair, not my problem.

This is not a "look how fabulous of a mom I am" blog. I am not super mom. I don't make every ounce of food Cecilia eats. I don't disinfect every inch of our house...hell we're lucky if I vacuum more than once a month. No judgypants, not here.

All this being said...I'll probably be a little judgy.
