My pregnancy blog was the best way possible for me to vent and process everything that was happening to my body and our life. I stopped after Cecilia was born because I felt like I couldn't write about our daughter and our life with the same sarcasm and mockery as my maternity blog. Well, I'm here today to tell you that ship has sailed. Who cares? Not me, not no one. Not my chair, not my problem.
This is not a "look how fabulous of a mom I am" blog. I am not super mom. I don't make every ounce of food Cecilia eats. I don't disinfect every inch of our house...hell we're lucky if I vacuum more than once a month. No judgypants, not here.
All this being said...I'll probably be a little judgy.
Chapter 1: Walker, Whiner, Smiler, Shy
Walker:
Whiner:
Oh, we have a little girl on our hands who has figured out how to make a high-pitched squeal when she is not pleased with her current situation. At dinner, when playing, in the car seat, in the stroller, etc. I didn't think this happened until at least 18 months old...so far she doesn't completely responded to JD's authoritative "Cecilia...Cecilia Natalie."
Smiler:
When she isn't whining...which really is not all that often, Cecilia is the happiest baby in all the land. She is always giggling, smiling, making new friends and showing off her big teeth.
haha
Shy:
The only time she gets shy is around men. Shy or coy? The girl is going to flirt her way through life.
I believe it is because she spends a lot of time around women at daycare...
I can't believe it is August. This month we will celebrate my brother's marriage, 5 birthdays and 2 wedding anniversaries! I'm amazed we have time to take care of ourselves.
Stay tuned for some Lake Jr. adventures this month!
